2024 vintage:

After a very mild winter, apart from a few days of severe cold in January and February, cool, damp weather interspersed with a few warm days set in from March to May, and we escaped a few frosts. As a result, bud break was late.
There was plenty of rain in the spring, which was good for replenishing water reserves. Fortunately, we were not affected by the hailstorms that wreaked havoc in some parts of Alsace. Temperatures were cool and the ripening process was delayed.
August was a little warmer, which helped to speed up the ripening of the grapes, but the vintage was late compared to previous years.
Despite these uncertainties, constant vigilance has ensured that our vineyard is in perfect health as we approach the harvest.
This is an atypical vintage with pronounced acidity and minerality, producing fresh wines with lower alcohol content.
