Vintage 2020

This year 2020, so particular was placed under the sign of heat and drought. The flowering of our vines took place at the very beginning of June. It was followed by a very dry and hot summer and early autumn. Then rainfall allowed the grapes to ripen in better conditions. The latter, very early, therefore began on August 31, 2020, an early date. The harvest started during big heat waves, which led us to harvest early in the morning, to avoid bringing in grapes that were too hot, with all that this entails in terms of vinification.

The sanitary state of the harvest was perfect, however some plots that had encountered drought problems were sorted out. The acidities remain very correct in spite of the high temperatures, preserved by the cool nights throughout the summer.
